Summer Camps Registration is Open!

If belting out tunes and putting on performances are some of your kid’s favourite things to do, then they will love spending their summer days at our Musical Theatre Day Camps. Each week, students will participate in creating a musical theatre production; classes include singing, dancing, and acting, as well as costumes, set and props design and production.

The Junior Day Camps are designed for kids aged 6 – 9 to try out theatre. They’ll learn the ins and outs of creating a production and have a ton of fun in the process! Our small class sizes ensure that your kiddo is supported through the process. It’s a great way for kids to develop self-esteem and self-confidence!

The Intermediate Day Camps are made for kids aged 10 – 13. They follow the same programming as the Junior Day Camps, but the intermediate program offers a longer script plus kids will enjoy a level of dance and music better suited to the older age group.

Are you opinionated?! We want YOU!

The Stage New Westminster is looking for feedback on some new program offerings. We have created two short surveys (and yes, we do mean short) that could win you $50 or $100 off your next class!

Young Artist Series

The Stage is looking to broaden it’s artistic scope by offering a day time program for ages 3-5. An all encompassing arts program with an incredible amount of potential for young artists.

Summer Session

September 2017 is too far away! Fill in this survey and join us for a shorter summer series of our popular baby, toddler & preschool programs! This is a great opportunity for returning families to continue their classes in the summer months; it also offers new families a chance to see what we’re all about before signing up for the fall session.

Spring Break Camps 2017

Musical Theatre Day Camps at The Stage are an exciting and engaging activity for your child during Spring Break. Each week, students will participate in creating a musical theatre production; classes include singing, dancing and acting, as well as costume, set and props design and production.

Our Day Camps are a great way for children to try out theatre without having to commit to a longer course. If your child loves playing dress up and make believe, creates skits for Grandma and Grandpa to watch in the living room, or is simply looking for a new experience, this course is for you! Because we believe in small class sizes and quality instruction, scripts are tailor-made for each class to best suit the individual needs of students, whether this is their first time on stage or they’re experienced thespians.

New class for adults!

Spandex optional!

Thursday Night Fever!

  • Ages: 18+
  • Tuition: $100
  • Length of class: 60 minutes
  • Instructor: Erin Michell

We have been hearing all too often “If only I had had this opportunity when I was younger” or “I wish there was something like this for adults”. Whether you were excited to click this link or rolled your eyes with “oh, what’s this all about” in your mind, this class is for you!

We are pleased to be introducing our very first adults only Musical Theatre class. And we’ll say it right away, there’s NO SINGING (unless you really want to in which case go for it!). All you need is a willingness to try something new, some comfortable clothes and a sense of humour. This class will lead the group (we’re talking to you, you two left feet advocates) through fun choreography with popular musical theatre tunes. Over the course of 10 weeks the class will learn a routine to a song while challenging the notions of “Oh I could never do that”, “I can’t dance”, “I’m too shy” and the like. Join this spirited, supportive and incredibly fun group! Do you have performance anxiety? No problem, this class is just for fun! No experience (literally none) required, everyone 18+ is welcome to join!

Come on out and meet other parents in our ever growing Stage family.
