Request a Virtual Audition for The Stage’s Senior Musical Theatre Program

Starting June 25th, we’ll be accepting requests to virtually audition for our year-long musical theatre performance training program for students in Grade 10-12 (aged 15-18). If you will be entering Grade 10 or above this September, we strongly encourage you to submit!
WHAT IT IS
This is a musical theatre training program that runs from September 2026 to June 2027 on Tuesday evenings from 5-8pm, with a multi-performance musical run in a professional theatre in the spring. It also involves a variety of performance learning opportunities throughout the year. Additional rehearsals and events may be involved. VIRTUAL AUDITION DEADLINE
All online forms and materials must be uploaded and received by July 9th, 2026 at 5pm. Students will be notified if they are accepted into the program or not by July 14th, 2026.
WHAT TO PREPARE:
1) An acting monologue from a play or musical that runs no longer than 1-2 minutes of performance time and showcases your acting skills. You will be asked to upload two contrasting takes of the same monologue.
2) A 16-32 bar cut (no longer than 1 minute) of a musical theatre song that showcases your singing with a backing track. Please pick the section that suits your voice and abilities best!
3) A video of you dancing a provided choreography combination. Please connect with us if you have any accessibility accommodations needed for a dance call.
WHAT IT COSTS
The Senior Musical Theatre program is paid in 10 installments of $275.00 +GST, with the first payment paid at the time of acceptance and non-refundable. The remaining payments are taken on the first of each month starting in September.
