Deepen your love for the stage with an acting class that blends technique, rehearsal, and performance! A creative exploration of theatrical stage acting, character development, and confidence-building exercises, with a focus on building strong connections with other actors, and two opportunities to showcase your performance technique.

This program has a skill-building technique term with a Winter Monologue Showcase in December, and begins rehearsing a short play in January with a Spring Play Showcase in May.

  • Age: 14-18
  • Tuition: 8 installments of $82.00 +GST, plus an $82.00 deposit fee (+GST)
    • The deposit fee due at registration is a non-refundable deposit
    • 8 remaining payments taken September 1, October 1, November 1, December 1, January 1, February 1, March 1, and April 1
  • Length of class: 120 minutes
  • Location: Lorne Street Studio | 50 Lorne Street

This program runs September – May, with an optional early withdrawal and late intake in January, though it is encouraged to stay the course!

    • Break from December 14, 2025 -January 9, 2026
    • Winter Showcase December 13 @ 1:15pm

Registration Information

  • Each class accepts a maximum of 12 students
  • Minimum running numbers must be met 1 week prior to posted start date; classes without minimum running numbers will be cancelled.
  • Registration closes 2 weeks after posted start date.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do you do trial classes?
  2. No, we do not offer trial classes for our programs because we understand that very few children will decide they absolutely love the class after one session. The first day of anything can be really unnerving (just like it is for adults!) so we require a mandatory 4 class sequence before issuing refunds for withdrawals.
  3. What is the policy for a refund if my child doesn’t like the class?

  5. When is the final performance?
  6. The final performance is on the last day of classes and takes place during the class time. No need to schedule additional time for the final presentation! Super convenient!
  7. Do you offer makeup classes in case we miss a day?
  8. No, because each group works on their own presentation we are not able to offer makeup classes.
  9. Do you accept students younger than the ages listed?
  10. No, we only take students who are the minimum age listed by the start date of the class. While we appreciate that students develop at their own pace, we recognize that social differences are incredibly apparent at this age. Being in a room full of much older children can feel intimidating socially so we eliminate this possibility by offering a small age bracket and maintaining those ages. Please trust this process, we are in no hurry for your child to grow up.
